After Barb lost her beautiful son, for a time she was blinded by her anger and grief.   Sadly, she was met  by some people who were not equipped to support her.  In Barb’s case her faith was strong enough to see that she could lean on God. Many people who are in pain don’t have the faith to withstand uninformed and hurtful input. Those in grief need other Christians to reflect God’s view of them. This video helps us understand the importance of communicating that trauma doesn’t define us.  Abuse survivor Jessica describes the sometimes painful journey of healing that leads to the acceptance that our identity is defined by God.
