Helping Build A Community Of Care
Too often, our church families see mental health care as the exclusive territory of pastors, mental health professionals, and maybe a few highly trained lay-leaders. We believe that everyone in the body of Christ should be better equipped to support (in their own way) others who are struggling. LifeSupport Resources provide mental health and ministry leaders with tools to help friends and family understand how to be part of the healing team.

Our research (round-table sessions with pastors and Christian mental health professionals, as well as survivor interviews) showed us that well-meaning people often say or do harmful things in an effort to help because they are not equipped, or because they step past the boundaries of care into areas better left to professionals. LifeSupport Discussion Videos and companion application guides are designed to help ordinary people find their role in supporting others through directed activity and simple Christian community (one-on-one or group discussion, prayer, sharing of story, ministry brain-storming activities, and exploration of scripture)
